Here are the security and safety protocols we have in place to ensure a safe and trusted environment:
1(a). Rigorous Account Vetting (Operators): We have implemented extensive security protocols to vet and approve accounts before users can leave reviews on our website. Every user who signs up is required to provide documentation to verify their connection with the operator they are signing up for. This documentation may include domain ownership screenshot, paystubs, or HR contact emails. By verifying their association with the company, we ensure that only legitimate operators can leave reviews.
1(b). Rigorous Account Vetting (Affiliates): We have implemented extensive security protocols to vet and approve affiliate accounts before users can join our website. Every user who signs up as an affiliate is required to provide documentation to verify their connection to the company they are signing up for. This documentation may include domain ownership screenshot, recent invoice showing company name, business email address, or a screenshot of the WordPress or website back end. By verifying their association with the company, we ensure that only legitimate affiliates can join the website.
2. Verified User System: Once an account is approved, the user’s profile will display the label “Verified User” next to their name. This designation makes it easy for you to identify authenticated individuals and trust the information they provide.
3. Anonymous Posting Option: We understand that some users may prefer to maintain their privacy even after their account has been verified. Therefore, we offer the option to post reviews using an alias or screename. Rest assured that regardless of the anonymity, all reviews are still subjected to our approval process to maintain quality and authenticity.
4. Advanced User Data Tracking: To maintain the integrity of our platform, we employ various measures to track user data and activity. This includes monitoring duplicate browsers, IP addresses, and other relevant information. These practices help us detect and prevent any suspicious activities, ensuring the reviews you read are genuine and reliable.
5. Combating False or Fake Reviews: We take a strong stance against false or fake reviews. Our team actively monitors and investigates any reports of fraudulent activity. If we detect any review that violates our guidelines or appears to be inaccurate or misleading, we take prompt action to address the issue. Business Email Verification: When operators and or affiliates sign up on our platform, we require them to use a business email address that includes the domain “@businessname.com.” This verification step ensures that the user still works for the company they claim to represent, adding an extra layer of authenticity to the reviews they leave. At Affiliate Roulette we want to create a safe and welcoming space for our users. We strive to provide you with reliable information, verified reviews, and a trustworthy platform to aid your decision-making process. 7. Monthly Email Verification: Every month, a verification email will be sent to the email address listed on the user’s profile to ensure they are an active employee of the associated company. Failure to verify the email will result in the temporary suspension of the user’s account until successful verification of their affiliation with an operator. If a user operating an operator account leaves the company, their account will be suspended and a new account will need to be created upon employment with another operator as an affiliate manager. If the user’s new employment is with an affiliate or an affiliate company, their operator account will be immediately suspended. They are welcome to create an affiliate account instead. Any violation of these terms will result in the blacklisting of the user’s account.
