Edward: Can you tell us a bit about your background and how you got involved in the iGaming affiliate industry?

I moved to Malta when I was 18 with the goal to get some experience in a foreign country with the plan to move back to Germany after. However, the rapid growth professionally as well as privately made me stay until now and i couldnt be more grateful about this long lasting chapter here in Malta. I was lucky to fill positions such as VIP Manager, Affiliate Manager, Country Manager within my journey.

Edward: Many affiliates face challenges when starting out. What difficulties did you encounter on your journey to success in the iGaming affiliate industry?

The competition is crazy! Operators fight for traffic and partially do not even consider the profitability of single traffic sources. CPAs are skyrocketing and the trust decreases while there are still parties who are abusing the remaining trust.

Edward: What aspects of being an iGaming affiliate do you enjoy the most? Are there specific elements or experiences that keep you motivated in this industry?

The relaxed environment each of us is working in. While everyone still has the goal to generate profits, we all consider ourselves to be in the same “group” and thus get-togethers like on conferences are extremely fun.

Edward: On the flip side, what aspects of the iGaming affiliate industry do you dislike or find challenging?

Clueless affiliate managers! Quantity over Quality.

Edward: Could you share some of the most common or recurring issues you face as an affiliate in the iGaming sector?

Clueless affiliate managers & payment moral (no or late payments)

Edward: In what ways do you think Affiliate Roulette can help affiliates overcome these challenges and streamline their operations in the industry?

To showcase good and bad operators and inform/warn about them.

Edward: Building a strong online presence and standing out from the crowd can be challenging. Can you share your experiences and strategies for establishing your presence as an iGaming affiliate?

The most important part is to keep doing what you started doing (as it counts for any project). In most of the cases the invested work is not reflecting itself in the outcome for years! Dont give up, produce high quality content, take your time to analyse, see your content from a user POV and a technical POV. Optimise, optimise, optimise. Never stop.

Edward: Affiliate Roulette’s platform allows affiliates to gather real reviews from operators they’ve collaborated with to build trust. How do you believe this feature can enhance your negotiations and relationships with potential partners?

Sometimes its sad to see that good operators do not wish to collaborate due to “risks”. Affiliate Roulette would help to strengthen our position in the market and showcase the quality of our traffic.

Edward: What are your thoughts on the future of the iGaming affiliate industry? Are there any emerging trends or opportunities that excite you?

Google, AI and great thinkers. Google is throwing around with Core-Updates. AI is developing very fast and offers an opportunity to save time / reduce cost – important to question whether it is a good one or not. Great thinkers: There is always a solution! New ideas and possibilities are coming on a daily basis.
